The 2019 Monaco Yacht Show was a big moment for Imperial. As a proudly Monaco-based company having delivered some of the most spectacular superyachts of the past five years, the pressure was on: for the first time ever, the secret AMADEA (Lurssen 106.10m) was revealed officially to the world as a new exclusive Central Agency for sale by Imperial, alongside one of the most impressive line-ups we’ve ever displayed. No fewer than six yachts were displayed during the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show, among them a jewel: the newly delivered FLYING FOX (Lurssen 136m), currently the largest charter superyacht in the world. The challenge was exciting, stressful and appealing, but we are proud to have exceeded expectations and made a huge splash by being one of the major exhibitors at the 2019 event.
With this superb display, Imperial proved once again that it’s now a key player in the luxury yachting industry. We would like, first of all, to warmly thank all our clients, but also all brokers from major houses and their enthusiastic clients, to have taken the time to appreciate the qualities of our fleet on display and at anchor, and the expertise of each crew member. The feedback we heard about our vessels displayed in the show or at anchor confirmed that our hard work and dedication is now an established standard, and the name Imperial alone is proof of gravity, precision and hard work. The involvement of every crew member on-board the superyachts displayed also helped us to meet expectations, and we thank them for their dedication and energy during the show.
AMADEA obviously attracted a good deal of attention in Port Hercules, and we thank once again our partners, brokers and clients who have shown genuine interest in purchasing the vessel for their trust. We applied strict rules for viewings on-board, and also created for the first time ever a luxury booth to welcome guests in the perfect Luxury Yachting 360° lifestyle experience atmosphere. We also thank our trusted partners for their help and confidence during the show:
The success surpassed our expectations, and without the help of our partners it would not have been possible.
Displayed side by side in the show area, both GRACE (Amels 52.30m) and HOKULANI (Palmer Johsnon 46m) made a remarkable entry. Nearby, RUSH (Mangusta 50m) was jointly displayed with EDMISTON, and her second Monaco Yacht Show in a row will remain a success as well. On these three superyachts, brokers and clients enjoyed the quality, the maintenance and their immaculate condition. An Imperial managed superyacht always stand out from the others in the industry!
From our fleet at anchor, FLYING FOX showed her spectacular curves to the world for the very first time, and here again we were able to surprise major brokers and qualified clients: at 136m, nobody was expecting such a level of finishing and VVIP treatment in every single area. Set to become the new standard of luxury charter journeys, FLYING FOX displayed all her assets and qualities to her guests, and her first winter season to come in the Indian Ocean is certain to be a success. Neighbouring LEGENDA (Mondomarine 41m) was also displayed during this 2019 show, and while being a famous charter superyacht in her range, she showcased her incredible assets and condition to a selected panel of sales brokers. Listed exclusively for sale with Imperial, there is no doubt LEGENDA made an impression!
To conclude, this Monaco Yacht Show 2019 was also a special occasion for our company, as we had the honuor and privilege to welcome on-board H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco during the BLUE Marine Yacht Club gala on 25th September on-board AMADEA. Jointly organised with BLUE and Lurssen to raise funds for the BLUE’s ocean sustainability programmes, this event will remain a success for BLUE as nearly £300,000 were raised. We would like to thank BLUE for having trusted us in the organisation, and Lurssen for having created this opportunity!
2019 is definitely a special year for Imperial, and we intend to maintain the high standards set during this year’s Monaco Yacht Show. We are pleased to share with you some iconic photographs of this event, and we hope you enjoyed the show as much as we did: see you for the 2020 event, with some surprises to come!
