To accompany its growing expansion within the yachting industry, and confirm its position as leader in its domain while its Charter Fleet is also increasing significantly, Imperial is looking to recruit an additional Charter Broker for its Monaco office. Thanks to the addition of luxury superyachts such as FLYING FOX (Lurssen 136m), the largest vessel ever available for charter, in the Imperial Central Agency Charter fleet, charter requests are getting more specific and destinations more and more remote. It appears necessary nowadays to open a new position for candidates actively looking for an exciting challenge within the Charter department!

The ideal candidate should match with the following profile:

  • At least 3 years’ successful experience gained in the industry, with a solid background
  • A thinking-forward state of mind, always putting the guests’ satisfaction and happiness at the center of every request

Imperial is looking for new talents to join our company, and look for its new Technical Administration and Fleet Software Support Assistant.

Reporting to Head of Technical, the Technical Administration and Fleet Software Support Assistant would develop effective relationships with vessel, crew and management alike to provide a stable and organized roll out and development of Fleet Management Software as well as performing general organizational administrative/clerical tasks to support technical operations team members.

Utilizing strong written and verbal communication skills along with keen attention to detail and problem solving expertise, the following may be considered amongst the key area of responsibilities for the Technical Administration and Software Support Assistant:

  • Offers basic administrative support and liaison between vessel Crew / Shore Based Management, and so responds by way of email, telephone calls and in-person as required.
  • Support Crew Members / Management to answer queries, locate information and review technical requirements.
  • Determine, review criticality and prioritize resolution of issues.
  • Record Crew Members / Management, modification and customization requests.
  • Liaise with Fleet Software development and technical support personnel.
  • Assist in development of training manuals and classroom training materials.
  • Record issues and solutions to develop troubleshoot guides.
  • Support new personnel in software, program and operational instructions.
  • Provides and assist input to technical projects, technical reports, project planning, etc.
  • Prepares technical drawings, datasheets and documents under the direction of Head of Technical
  • Develops, maintains and manages structured technical databases, spreadsheets and filing system.
  • Provides technical management with project support whilst developing and maintaining effective communications with New Build Operations Teams.
  • Organize and schedule administrative meetings.
  • Provide administrative support to Technical Operational Managers.
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Assist with research and helps creates management presentations.
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
  • Organize travel arrangements for Technical Managers when required.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Take accurate minutes of meeting.
  • Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient.

Additional requirements :

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Monaco
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential
  • Driving License – needed to visit yachts in various shipyards and marinas in South of France and Italy
  • EU Passport required
