Imperial and Nobiskrug announce new 77m superyacht project
Dutch famous superyacht design studio Sinot Yacht Architechure & Design unveiled its new 115m project during the Monaco Yacht Show 2018: ART OF LIFE, a concept featuring a striking exterior style with an overhang at the stern and a forward projecting bow. ART OF LIFE was developed to be a statement of elegance, offering a successful blend of beauty and functionality. From the drawings of a 16th-century Dutch schooner yacht, she features a fast, versatile and efficient hull. In order to offer guests maximum use of space, the new design is able to accommodate up to 12 guests in six staterooms, including the Owner stateroom, 2 VIP and 3 guest bedrooms. Accommodating up to 35 crew members, with one captain cabins, four single staff and 15 double crew cabins, ART OF LIFE is reinventing the pleasure at sea.
Sander Sinot, founder of Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, and creative mind behind the project, says: “Sometimes one can forget that our life has a limited amount of time, so one can question, how do we use the hours we live? There is no answer other than to invest as much time as possible towards the quality of living. Freedom, love and quality time with family and friends is key. With our yacht concept ART OF LIFE, we want to address this as yacht architects and designers.” The new superyacht concept aims to offer an unrivalled access to the environment around the future owners, as huge aft windows from the stern lounge, large windows and multiple skylights ensure ART OF LIFE is saturated by natural light and views. “The monolithic hull is very elegant and enabled us to create a yacht with an intuitive and clear layout and a smart and logic flow.” adds Sinot. “This, combined with the state-of-the-art and fully integrated technology, makes Art of Life very spacious.”
Following this clear idea of spaces and brightness, Sinot Yacht Design created an architectural setup aboard to be intuitive, offering a clear and functional layout that flows with the interior. “For the interior, we choose to focus on things in life that really matter, such as spending time with your loved ones, beauty and art,” confirms Sinot. “The integrated architecture of the design offers the owner a haven of privacy and the sensorial stimuli for both inner peace and exploration of the beauty and richness of the world around us.” As an example, the Owner’s stateroom is spacious and includes a private lounge spanning the main and upper deck. Accessible via a private staircase, which is lit by multiple skylights, future owners can enjoy the panoramic views thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Fitness and health are also a key part of the ART OF LIFE design. The indoor health and beauty centre, located on the main and lower decks is connected by an open, architectural staircase for a spacious effect and includes a large indoor pool, sauna, treatment area, hair and beauty room and massage area, to offer a maximum comfort and relaxation. The stern lounge also boasts a 384-inch retractable cinema screen, while the Gym features fold-down hatched to the water level. The toy garage, which offers plenty of space for numerous toys and tenders, also includes a fold-down hatch for amphibious launches.
Together with Sinot Yacht Architechure & Design, Imperial confirmed the signature of a 77m striking superyacht project at Nobiskrug shipyard, with a kick-off planned end of 2018 – early 2019.
