Amels new 83m flagship

Amels' largest superyacht

Dutch superyacht builder Amels has launched its largest-ever Limited Editions semi-custom series yacht, reaching 83m length in total, with the graceful and feminine exterior styling coming from the sought-after designer Tim Heywood and interiors by Winch Design.

Biggest displacement superyacht ever built by our Dutch partner, boasts a 14.54 metre beam and six decks, for a total interior volume of 2,827GT. Tim Heywood explained his approach to the project, saying: “Amels were interested in building a larger boat. They wanted to make more of those features they feel their boats have always portrayed — the big open spaces, big deck areas.”  The exterior lines of this marvelous creation have been kept sleek and racy despite the vessel’s size, and  plenty of modern touches are set to create a thoroughly contemporary feel, mixed with the traditional seamanlike approach that Amels is known for.

Rob Luijendijk, Managing Director of Amels, said: “Our approach gives Owners a great head start as well as the flexibility for customisation at the highest level. It also proves Amels’ large yacht building expertise – absolute top quality and smooth production. This new superyacht achievement is a wonderful example of Owners stepping up to larger yachts within the Amels Limited Editions range.”

At last, power comes from a pair of 3,150hp Caterpillar engines for a top speed of 17 knots. When cruising at 15 knots, she will have a maximum cruising range of 5,500 nautical miles. We congratulate again our partner Amels for this remarkable milestone in their long, rich naval history, confirming their leading position in innovation and customisation!
