The famous Italian shipyard Benetti unveiled during the 2017 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show four new models in the Custom Now product family. This new project named “BNow by RWD” is the fruit of a collaboration with UK-based Redman Whiteley Dixon design studio, a long-standing partner of the shipbuilder. This new family of displacement yachts has been created to deliver owners Benetti yachts with faster turnaround times. “BNow by RWD” is a line of superyachts characterised by a sleek exterior and a vertical bow typical of most of the latest disruptive designs delivered by the Livorno-based shipyard, featuring a displacement steel hull and superstructure in aluminium. They are available in four sizes to satisfy the most demanding owners: the smallest model is coming at under 500 GRT, while her sisters will measure respectively 56m, 63m and 68m in length. But the great advantage offered by these models is the shorter delivery times, thanks to Benetti’s innovative construction technology. The layouts feature a new and revolutionary concept of life on-board especially designed by Benetti and RWD, as well as an innovative use of space, with a highly contemporary design approach that strives for extreme comfort on-board, and in which light features prominently. Lounge and wellness areas, including gyms, spas and beach clubs, are the main focus of the design. However, the actual layout is subject to tailoring according to owners’ specifications, as RWD prefers to create highly customisable designs from briefs. The “BNow by RWD” will be built at the Livorno shipyard, and this RWD project joins “BNow by Natucci” and “BNow Fast by Omega”, launched in 2016 and all part of the Custom Now product family.
