Prior to the 2018 Monaco Yacht Show, Dutch superyacht builder Damen has introduced the updated SeaXplorer 75 design to the industry. The 76.9-metre and 2,650GT superyacht features, as with all superyachts in the SeaXplorer range, fully customisable engineering and design. Described as “the ultimate crossover of superyacht quality and finish with serious capability”, this six-deck expedition yacht offers luxury accommodation for 12 guests with an owner's apartment, two VIP suites and bow point observation lounge and outdoor deck. The exterior styling, developed by Azure Yacht Design, features a helipad for two helicopters, a below-deck hangar, dive centre and two tender garages fore and aft. “The SeaXplorer 75 is a yacht for all seasons for clients who want to spend time exploring the world,” comments Rose Damen, Managing Director. “The combination of our Amels luxury yachting know-how with our Damen Shipyards Group experience delivering commercial vessels is really unique – and you can see that in the design. The SeaXplorer 75 offers serious global capability but with true superyacht refinement at home in any marina. We’ve also designed her to be customised to our client’s bespoke requirements.” The SeaXplorer has the capacity for provisions, fuel, waste water holding tanks and waste management for up to 40 days with no port calls. The Ice Class and IMO Polar Code-compliant design is available in a range of five designs up to 100-metres. The immediate success of the range has established the Damen SeaXplorer as the leading luxury expedition yacht, setting the trend for the superyacht industry.
