50-metre lenght open superyacht ELSEA was built and delivered by Imperial during Spring 2017, in strong collaboration with Cerri Cantieri Navali (CCN). Characterised by an aggressive, sleek profile, which can ensure outstanding performance, with a maximum speed of up to 30 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots. Finalist at the World Superyacht Awards 2018 in the Semi-Displacement or Planing Three Deck Motor Yachts category, nominated in the Best Interior Design Motor Yachts 400GT to 999GT category at the Boat International Design & Innovation Awards 2018, ELSEA is designed by Studio Bacigalupo, with interior from Giorgio Vafiadis and embarks a modern, stylish interiors with five comfortable cabins and large exteriors fully-furnished.
Her interiors, with a large set of Lalique decoration, are a tribute to the fine deco design developed with a key of modernity. The layout reserves large areas for conviviality, both on the Main deck – where the living and dining areas as well as the full-beam Master cabin can be found – and on the Upper deck, which is entirely devoted to life in the open air. The interiors explicitly draw inspiration from the “deco” style, reinterpreted in a modern key. This fascinating parallelism is obtained through the use of mirroring surfaces and fine woods which, together with stylish steel details, highlight the bold shapes of the interiors and create a fascinating contrast between the different materials.
Five spacious cabins can be found onboard, plus the spectacular Owner’s suite, characterised by impressive volumes – a wonderful private apartment that is made truly unique by its luxury and the great care devoted to the tiniest details. Worth mentioning are also the two salons, each with its own personality. The first, located on the Main deck, is more formal and is furnished with a table seating 12 people; the second, on the upper deck, welcomes guests to its warm, cosy atmosphere and to a large round sofa that makes this room the ideal place for pure relaxation.
Onyx, Lalique details, and precious fabrics add luxury to all areas and perfectly integrate with the furniture and furnishings, which have been made even lighter thanks to cutting-edge technological solutions to allow the boat to achieve outstanding speeds – a key feature for yachts in this class. First fully custom aluminium motor yacht of this size ever built by the Italian shipyard, ELSEA represents a step forward in the history of Cerri Cantieri Navali, on which Imperial played an important part, acting as Owner’s Representative and Construction Supervisor throughout the whole construction process.
