Technical/Operational Assistant

Imperial is looking for a Technical/Operational Assistant to join the company..

Reporting to the Head of Operations and Technical Department, the Administration Assistant would develop effective relationships with vessel, crew and management team members alike to provide well organized administrative/clerical duties to support Technical/Operational team members and administrative support of our fleet management software

Utilizing strong written and verbal communication skills along with keen attention to detail, the following may be considered amongst the key area of responsibilities for the Administration Assistant:

  • Offers administrative support between Vessel Crews and Shore Based Management
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
  • Organize and schedule administrative meetings and appointments.
  • Organize travel arrangements for Managers when required.
  • Take accurate minutes of the meeting.
  • Develops, organize & maintains the structure of technical databases, spreadsheets and filing system.
  • Assist with preparation & development of regularly scheduled presentations and reports.
  • Liaise with the software development & technical support Team to record modification requests.
  • Develop and update administrative systems to improve efficient work practices.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
