Whether a vessel was designed and built under Imperial’s supervision or not, our extensive construction portfolio, allied to our yard-based specialist teams, enables us to assist with even the most ambitious superyacht refit project. Imperial develops, in partnerships with the main luxury shipyards of the superyacht industry, a new Yacht Project Management and Yacht Refit policy. We offer professional planning and design consultation to ensure that each vessel entering a major refit period has been thoroughly prepared, with a client-driven plan that satisfies regulatory compliance, survey requirements and ongoing technical safety standards.

We also manage the contractors in all relevant sub departments, including interior fit-out, engineering, navigation and communication – and our proven protocols give us precise control over every other aspect of a refit project, from sourcing of parts to shipyard procurement, contract negotiation, specification approval and compliance control.

Imperial’s Managers strictly follow road map and budget our client would allocate to his superyacht refit project, monitoring every aspect with suppliers working with us for this project on a daily basis with detailed reports. For each superyacht refit project, Imperial dedicates a Financial Manager who will handle all the budget elements and will give a clear overview on expenses undergoing.
